This memo describes how it is possible to with today's demands on reliability in electrical supply can run the Swedish power system without nuclear energy.

Swedish Electric Storage and Balancing Centre (SESBC) held its second annual conference 24-25 October. The event took place in the picturesque university city Lund located in Sweden’s most southern region, Skåne.

We got the opportunity to ask SESBC's program council chairman Niklas Thulin a few questions about himself, and his views on the centre.  

The Summer School is open and free of charge for all researchers and non-academic partners active in SESBC. The event had a total of 43 participants, including doctoral students and post-docs from a range of different organizations.

This was the first physical seminar focusing on Intelligent energy management.  We thank all the speakers and participants for great discussions! 

The Nordic electric power system seminar was held at Chalmers 9 Nov and focused on power system disturbances and robustness.
