Benedick Allan Strugnell-Lees, PhD student at Chalmers University of Technology, is developing battery ageing prediction models optimised for second-life usage within the SESBC project “Optimal usage and properties of battery storage units using 2nd life batteries”.

The third SESBC conference took place in Uppsala at Botaniska hotellet,15–16 October. The event was well attended with an increased number of participants since previous conference. The group discussions had a focus on preparation for the next phase of the centre. 

We congratulate Martin Lundberg on a successful PhD defence! Martin’s research has been part the Research & Innovation layer Systems in the project "Managing grid capacity with storage".
